Transcatheter Arterialization of Deep Veins in Chronic Limb-Threatening Ischemia

Limflow published a milestone study in New England Journal of Medicine, marking a new advancement in vascular surgery for patients with limb-threatening ischemia. Patients with chronic limb threatening ischemia have limited options, often leading to above-ankle amputation. The pivotal study found that transcatheter arterialization of deep veins could be performed with a high degree of success and is associated with improved wound healing and amputation-free survival.
