eKare UK Launches New Remote Monitoring and Smartphone Capabilities and Winning the UK Wounds Today “Best Use of Digital Technology” Award

eKare enhances its offering with the launch of Remote Monitoring and new Smartphone capabilities

The inSight® 3D imaging and wound measurement system incorporates the latest achievements in artificial intelligence and deep learning, giving clinicians the power to make data-driven decisions to effectively treat patients. This month eKare launches its new Remote Monitoring feature, which enables Clinicians to give appropriate patients access to a simplified version of inSight® via their smartphone, empowering selfcare and monitoring of their wounds remotely.

This is particularly relevant with the impact of more virtual working due to Covid-19. eKare is now working with organizations across the healthcare continuum around the globe to implement new digital pathways which enable increased patient engagement, quality of life and also deliver an efficiency saving. This alongside eKare’s launch of inSight® on Android later this month means that no matter what smartphone device you have, both clinicians and patients are able to use the inSight Wound Platform.
