eKare, a leader in digital wound assessment technology, has announced a partnership with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. This collaboration involves a 12-month initiative focused on demonstrating the clinical and economic impact of integrating advanced digital wound care technology into Oxford Health’s clinical practices.

The partnership will see Oxford Health adopting eKare’s inSight® platform, which utilizes 3D imaging and AI-driven analytics to support clinicians in precise wound assessment, informed treatment planning, and improved patient monitoring. The inSight® platform is already used by several NHS trusts and healthcare organizations globally, where it has demonstrated notable enhancements in patient outcomes and operational efficiencies.

Additionally, Oxford Health is partnering with the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre (HRC) in Community Healthcare at the University of Oxford to perform a comprehensive service evaluation alongside this initiative. The research will explore how district nursing teams integrate eKare technology into their routines, gathering practical insights that will inform future improvements in evidence-based wound care practices.
